Netbooks are the most suitable for girls who always wanna get hooked up to Internet, to carry around due to the mini size, and some more the screen size shall be more comfortable for viewing than an overly packed UMPC. Two Netbooks have been announced respectively for the Korean and the Japanese.
The LG Xnote Mini in the hands of the cute Korean girl shown above, comes with an 10-inch screen, powered by the Intel ATOM CPU to keep power consumption as low as possible. This netbook is also equipped with a 1.5 megapixel camera – snap shots of your static and videos and keep posting them online to share with your friends is always handy using this netbook. It’s loaded with a HDD that is 160GB in size and powered by 3-cells battery. It’ll be available in Korea market but date seems to be unknown.
Besides, Averatec 1000 is also scheduled to be ready for the Japan market on Oct 15th. The screen size is 10.2inch, LCD, with a WSGA resolution (1,024×600). Powered by Intel Atom also – N270 (1.6GHz). 1GB RAM, expandable up to 2G only. It comes with Windows XP home, 160GB HDD, 3 USB ports, a multicard reader, WiFi b/g, 1.3Mpix Camera and a battery life span of 2.5 hours.
It seems like these netbooks are NOT having any SIM card slot built-in that can be inserted with a 3G SIM card, so you can easily get hooked up to the Internet via HSDPA/3G capable cellular network, other than only relying on WiFi connection.
