Motorola Aura handset gets diamond makeover

At the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2009, Motorola has announced their new diamond-studded handset, the Diamond Moto Aura. The handset is the design of the designer, Alexander Amosu.

This Moto Aura handset surely stands out in the crowd, especially with the 99 diamonds studded, trailing along its sleek lines. The 99 diamonds sum up a total of 1 carat. The original version of Moto Aura features a swivel design, with the circular screen at the pivot. It’s equipped with a display that boasts 16 million colors and 300dpi resolution.

The original version of the Moto Aura also comes with a a 1.62 carat sapphire crystal on the screen, but it doesn’t bling that much compared to the diamond-studded version. But this diamond-studded version shall have exactly the same features, other than the mentioned, you will also find a music player, stereo Bluetooth, messaging, e-mail, speakerphone, as well as Motorola’s CrystalTalk feature. The phone also has a 2-megapixel camera, supports quad-band GSM and has 2GB internal memory.

The diamond-studded version of the Moto Aura shall surface in luxury stores some times in March, and asking for only-celebrity-affordable price of $7,121!
