Nokia has announced their dual-sim cell phones, C1 and C2, and set to be launched in the second half of this year. The C2 allows the two SIM cards to be used simultaneously which you can send and receive SMS and calls on any of the cards. The card slot lies in the secondary battery and is hot swappable, for easy insertion or removal. The handset also packs a VGA camera, a headphone jack, FM radio and microSD card support up to 32GB. It’s an affordable handset priced around 45 Euros.
The C1 needs you to press a button to switch between SIM cards, so it only allows a single card to be used at one time. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a long battery life and is priced around 30 Euros. A dual-sim phone is handy while you’re one traveling across a number of places where network signal strengths could vary. Or you want more than one number for calling different contacts.
