Gateway has been known for their budget laptops and now they’ve added two new models in their Gateway ID line, which are powered the Core i3 and Core i5 processors, pack decent specs and but still stick to the budget price range of the Gateway series.

The two Gateway ID models are powered by the NVidia Optimus for their graphics and they’re equipped with a touchpad that glows softly. The two models are namely ID49 and ID59 which has a screen size of 14-inch (1266 x 768) and a 15.6-inch (1366 x 768) respectively. The NVidia Optimus is a plus for its graphics, allowing you to switch between integrated graphics and a discrete GeForce GT 330M GPU so you can save more in the battery life.

The glowing touchpad of the two laptops have little magic lying in it. It glows in aqua blue and supports multi-gesture input. The glow gets brighter while you scroll through the documents using the touchpad, then reduces fast that makes it look cool.
