TV to Internet converter brings web browsing to your television

You wanna be able to surf the Internet on a large TV screen? Here comes a little device called the TV to Internet converter which is able to turn your HDTV into a big screen for web browsing. The device simply connects to the HDMI port of your TV and it can be hooked up to your wired or wireless home Internet connection.

Once the device is setup with your TV, it presents you a proprietary web browser and a virtual keyboard that is controllable via the included remote. It also displays time, date, weather and calendar and includes bookmarks for YouTube and Google Maps etc. The content will be displayed in 720p HD quality which is recommended to be used on an HDTV.

The TV to Internet converter runs on AC power source and comes included with a AC power adapter. If you want one, you can get it from Hammacher for $200 only – a price that’s very much cheaper than a brand new web-enabled HDTV.
