PiCycle electric bike with anti-theft system that syncs with your smartphone

PiCycle is a special electric bike built by Marcus Hays, the founder of PiMobility. The PiCycle bike has a theft recovery system that is able to update your smartphones to tell the bike’s location. It’s also equipped with a special wireless technology known as PiFi instead of WiFi, allowing the PiCycle bike to stream critical data to your iPhone, iPod Touch or other smart phones via an native app.

Through the PiMobility app on your smartphone, you can monitor various useful info of the bike such as battery health, battery charging frequency, battery cycle life, motor and controller experience and more. Unfortunately, the PiCycle does not come cheap at all, it’s priced at $2,500 for a limited time on PiCycle.com
